Welcome to "To Our Canadian Troops". Supporting our Highway of Heroes and honouring our Canadian Forces members, their families and our Veterans world wide. Both the commemorative CD and beginning and intermediate concert band arrangements are available through St. John's Music or on this site. The commemorative CD is also available at CANEX stores (Canadian Forces Bases) and on Itunes, Amazon.com and CD Baby. All profits from the commemorative CD and band music project go the the Military Families, Soldier On and Hospital Comfort Funds. Dennis performed the song "To Our Canadian Troops" for Prime Minister Harper and 1800 dignitaries and guests November 10th 2009, at the True Patriot Love Dinner Gala held at the Toronto Convention Centre.
Below is a picture of General Walt Natynczyk, Chief of the Defence Staff offering his support to Dennis Leclair and the "To Our Canadian Troops" Project. General Natynczyk was visiting Kelowna BC to honour members and families of the BC Dragoons for exemplary service in Afghanistan.
Below is a video of Dennis' rehearsal performance May 18th 2010 at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa Ontario Canada. Dennis performed "To Our Canadian Troops" with the Central Band of the Canadian Forces at Southam Hall for over 2500 musicians and music educators at MusicFest 2010.

Below is a picture of Ron Cannan, MP Kelowna-Lake Country offering his endorsement to Dennis and the commemorative CD song project. Mr. Cannan and his assistant Ms. Louise Levesque have been strong supporters of this cause.

Below is a picture of the Honourable Stockwell Day, Minister of International Trade offering his support to Dennis and the "To Our Canadian Troops" song project. Minister Day and his assistant Doug Sharpe have been stong advocates for this commemorative CD cause.

Dennis performed "To Our Canadian Troops" for 1800 guests at the True Patriot Love Dinner in Toronto on November 10th, 2009 at the Toronto Convention Centre. This Gala raised approximately two million dollars for the Military Families Fund. Dignitaries attending included Prime Minister Harper, General Walt Natynczyk, and General Rick Hillier. Dennis performed the song with the assistance of the 7th Toronto Regiment RCA Band and the Fern Hill Choir. Below is a picture of Dennis presenting a commemorative CD to Major-General Rohmer on November 11, 2009. Major-General Rohmer and Dennis were appearing on the LeDrew Live television program on channel CP 24.

The Canadian Tenors and Leahy also performed at the True Patriot Love Dinner and each received a commemorative CD from Dennis.

Below is a public performance on August 14th, 2009 of the tribute song "To Our Canadian Troops" for General Walt Natynczyk Chief of the Defence Staff, Canadian Forces members, their families and invited guests at the British Columbia Dragoons Brigadier Angle Armoury in Kelowna BC. The song provides support for our Canadian Forces members, the Highway of Heroes and was performed by Captain (Ret) Heather Davis, PO1 (Ret) Stu Dawson and Dennis Leclair.
Three versions of the "To Our Canadian Troop" song and the beginning and intermediate concert band arrangements are available as downloads and CD/band folders on the Buy Troop CD and Buy Band Arrangements pages. I hope that after listening to the sample of the songs, you will consider purchasing the band music and pre-ordering a commemorative CD "on behalf" of our recipients and perhaps one for your personal use or as a gift. Your "on behalf" commemorative CD will be distributed world wide by the Canadian Forces Personnel Support Agency to over 450,000 (four hundred and fifty thousand) Canadian troops, their families, military support staff and our Veterans. Your "personal use" CD will be mailed to your home address. Above is a picture of the Naden Band of Maritime Forces Pacific under the direction of Commanding Officer, Lt(N) Robert Byrne. The Naden Band recorded both advanced instrumental and band/vocal versions of "To Our Canadian Troops" on September 23rd, 2009. This arrangement was written by Captain (Ret) Heather Davis and is available for purchase on the buy band arrangement page.
